About Halcyon

Founded in 2019. Profitable since 2021. Still small enough to care about every engagement.

How We Started

Halcyon Agency began when Elena Vasquez left her VP of Marketing role at a Series C fintech company. After 12 years in enterprise marketing, the pattern was clear: most agencies sell execution without strategy. They produce content, run campaigns, and report metrics, but they rarely ask the question that matters: why this, and not something else?

Halcyon was founded to answer that question first. Every engagement begins with a strategic assessment. We define the positioning, build the messaging architecture, and identify the highest-leverage channels before a single piece of content is produced. This approach is slower at the start and faster in aggregate. Clients who invest 6 weeks in strategy save 6 months of wandering.

Today, Halcyon is a team of 12 across Austin and remote. We have served 47 clients since founding, with a 91% retention rate and an average engagement length of 14 months. We are not the cheapest agency. We are the one that makes the others unnecessary.

What We Believe

Strategy is not optional.

Tactics without strategy is noise. We do the hard thinking before we start the visible work.

Measure what matters.

We track pipeline contribution, not impressions. If marketing can't connect to revenue, it's a cost center.

Small teams, big outcomes.

We keep the team lean so senior people stay on accounts. You will not be handed off to a coordinator.

Transparency over polish.

We share what's working and what isn't. Monthly reports include failures alongside wins.
